Our crew hails from around the state of Alaska and has a wealth of work experience in rugged locations and challenging conditions. They are an indispensable part of the "family" in our family-business, and we couldn't be prouder of them.
Luke Konarzewski
Crew LeaderLuke has been building trails since 2016, and with IT since 2021. He originally hails from the flatlands of the Midwest. Upon graduating early from high school, he bought a van, put a bed in it, and drove to Alaska. When he's not working, his life revolves around travel, photography, backcountry skiing, and all things climbing.

Rachel Jensen
Crew MemberRachel currently lives in Palmer and his been with the IT crew for 3 seasons. Originally from Northern Michigan, she came to AK in 2015 as a member of the Air Force. After finishing her military service in 2021 she completed her Bachelor's in Outdoor Studies at Alaska Pacific University. In her free time you can find her exploring with her husband, Gilbert, hanging out with her pups, Olly & Arlo, or attempting a new sourdough loaf.

Rose McAdoo
Camp ManagerRose first came to Alaska in 2009 and has since guided in Denali, Kenai Fjords, and Lake Clark National Parks-- in addition to her 6.5 seasons in Antarctica. Now based in Anchorage, Rose makes science communication desserts and loves every minute she spends on glaciers and with friends, preferably at the same time.

Annalise Brinks
Crew MemberAnnalise is originally from Michigan and has spent the last three seasons working trails in the White Mountains of New Hampshire. She has also done stream restoration in Tennessee, and carpentry in Antarctica. She loves to work with her hands, whether that be moving rocks, crocheting, or cooking.

Dan Cameron
Crew MemberDan is fresh off of his first Fairbanks winter and excited to continue his love of trail work with Interior Trails. He previously worked for Denali National Park and the Forest Service in the Bob Marshall Wilderness of Montana. He fills his spare time with backcountry skiing, boating, and biking.

Ben Ervin
Crew MemberIn Alaska since 2017, Ben calls Anchorage home. He's worked in the trail world since 2016, in the Rockies and across Southcentral AK. Ben spends shoulder seasons working for himself as a carpenter, helping fund home renovations and a persistent travel itch. Otherwise, he's backcountry skiing, bike packing, unicycling, hiking, or listening to music with his wife & dogs.

Abdi hails from Montague, MA, and is in his first year at UVM, in Burlington, VT. He has worked on the IT crew during the 2024 & 2025 seasons. He loves watching wildlife, fishing, wetlands, soccer, and burger night.
